headquarters in South Africa and Dubai. We are an Industrial Automation Company
dedicated to solving automation problems and improving customer productivity.

GLOBAL is seeking a highly organized and experienced Manager of Project Execution
to join our team. The Manager of Project Execution will be responsible for effectively
planning, directing, and assessing the daily operations of the engineering team. This
includes managing schedules for engineers and 1099 contractors, acting as the main
point of contact for customers, visiting projects onsite, assisting in training and
development, and quoting new projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent
communication and leadership skills and a strong technical background in
automation engineering.

Responsibilities:

1. Schedule Management
   • Develop and maintain project schedules for engineering teams and 1099
     contractors, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
   • Coordinate and allocate resources to meet project deadlines and objectives.
   • Continuously monitor progress and identify potential bottlenecks or issues,
     proactively addressing them.
2. Customer Relations:
   • Serve as customers’ primary point of contact, maintaining a positive and professional relationship.
   • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
3. Onside Project Visits:
   • Conduct regular onsite visits to project locations to monitor progress,
     identify any challenges, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
   • Work closely with project teams to provide guidance, resolve issues, and
     make informed decisions to keep projects on track.
4. Training and Development
   • Assist in the training and development of engineering staff, ensuring their skills are aligned with project requirements and industry best practices.
   • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance the team’s capabilities.
   • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the engineering department.
5. Quoting of New Projects
   • Review customer requirements.
   • Prepare a detailed and accurate quote that includes all relevant information including labor and expense costs.
   • Be responsive to customer inquiries, provide clarifications if needed, and address any concerns promptly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in project engineering or management, preferably in Automation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to
  prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
  and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and inclusive
  work environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
