Bag Palletizing Cells
Custom robotic cells pick bags from conveyors and build stable pallet patterns around your bag size, weight, material, throughput, and available floor space.
GLOBAL Automation Technologies designs robotic bag palletizing systems that help manufacturers move finished bags accurately, safely, and consistently. From end-of-line bag pickup through stable pallet patterns and downstream transfer, our engineered cells combine FANUC robots, custom tooling, controls, and optional vision guidance. Gain dependable throughput, reduce repetitive handling, and build an automation platform around your product, space, and production targets.

Custom robotic solutions for reliable bag handling, pallet building, controls, and production-line integration.

Integrate robotic bag pickup, transfer, pallet placement, and handoff to downstream wrapping or storage equipment for a coordinated end-of-line workflow.
Machine vision helps identify bag position and orientation, supporting accurate pickup and placement while reducing reliance on highly constrained presentation fixtures.
GLOBAL engineers end-of-arm tooling and fixtures suited to bag materials, shapes, weights, and handling requirements for controlled, repeatable movement.
Connect robots, conveyors, safety guarding, PLCs, and production equipment into one coordinated system built for your operating sequence and cycle-time goals.

A robotic bag palletizing cell should fit the realities of your line, and GLOBAL Automation Technologies engineers each one around the bags and pallet formats it will run. Work starts with a load and SKU study — bag size, weight, fill consistency, and pallet patterns — followed by end-of-arm tooling selection for flexible, shifting loads. Filled bags are metered and oriented on the infeed and flattened or squared before pickup, then placed into recipes configured in palletizing software so the robot forms stable, interlocked layers and switches formats as SKUs change. Pallet dispensing, tier-sheet placement, and the handoff to downstream stretch wrapping are built in where needed, all inside safety guarding with guarded pallet infeed and outfeed. Each cell is sized to the reach and payload its patterns require and run off with your bags before it is handed to production.

Systems integration and technical staffing give manufacturers one source for systems and engineers.
Automation specialists focused on solving demanding manufacturing challenges.
GLOBAL Automation Technologies was founded in 2008 to solve manufacturing problems through automation. The company brings robotic systems integration and technical staffing together, giving manufacturers a single source for automation projects from concept through production support. Over 18+ years, the team has grown to 110+ members, with offices in four countries and integration work completed across 22 countries. GLOBAL's engineers apply experience from automotive, EV, heavy equipment, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing to each application, using simulation to accelerate programming and reduce startup surprises.
Bag palletizing rate depends on bag weight and size, how bags arrive on the infeed, the pallet pattern, and how many bags the robot handles per pick. Filled bags need to settle and flatten before placement, so cycle time reflects that conditioning step as much as robot speed. Rather than quoting a headline bags-per-hour figure, GLOBAL sizes the cell to the sustained rate your line produces and validates it with simulation before build. Where higher rates are required, tooling that flattens or places multiple bags and a metered infeed help hold a stable, repeatable pace.
