Vision-Guided Robotics
Integrate cameras and guidance so robots can locate, identify, and orient parts despite changing position, supporting flexible automation with fewer dedicated fixtures.
Turn variable, inspection-heavy production tasks into dependable automated operations with machine vision engineered around your parts, process, and throughput goals. GLOBAL integrates cameras, guidance, and robotic controls that locate components, verify orientation, and inspect quality against defined criteria. Gain greater flexibility, less scrap, and actionable production data without relying on rigid fixturing alone.

Inspect component presence, position, dimensions, and surface defects against defined criteria, catching nonconforming parts before they move to downstream operations.
Enable robots to assemble, dispense, or perform other operations on parts in motion through line tracking, helping maintain flow without unnecessary stops.
Use camera-guided recognition and path planning to identify randomly oriented parts in bins, allowing robots to pick and place components reliably.
Verify bead width, placement, continuity, and integrity with integrated vision and flow monitoring, catching missed paths or material defects before downstream processing.
Apply machine vision for part identification, seam location, adaptive path correction, and weld feature inspection in robotic welding cells engineered for consistent production.
GLOBAL integrates machine vision with robotics and controls to do two distinct things well: guide robots and inspect parts. As guidance, cameras locate a component and determine its orientation so a robot can pick or work on it without precise, dedicated fixturing—whether parts arrive racked, on a conveyor, or in a random bin. Getting this right depends on calibration and hand-eye alignment so image coordinates translate accurately into robot moves, and on choosing between 2D imaging, which fits flat features and position within a plane, and 3D imaging, which is needed when height, tilt, or full part pose matter. As inspection, vision checks dimensions, presence, position, assembly completeness, codes, and surface defects against defined acceptance criteria. Because lighting and part presentation determine what the camera can actually resolve, GLOBAL engineers optics, illumination, and part staging as part of the system rather than an afterthought, and tunes the balance between false rejects and escapes to match your quality requirements. Inspection results feed the line controls, and where it fits the process, downstream inspection can trigger automatic robotic spot repair or rejection so nonconforming parts are corrected or removed before they move on. Every solution is built around your equipment, part geometry, cycle time, and controls, integrating with the robots and line you already run.

Automation engineers focused on production-ready results.
Founded in 2008, GLOBAL Automation Technologies was built to solve manufacturing problems through automation. We saw that manufacturers often needed more than a robotic system—they also needed skilled people to implement, operate, and sustain it. That insight shaped our approach: turnkey robotic systems integration and technical staffing under one roof. Today GLOBAL has grown to more than 110 team members, with offices in four countries and project experience in 22 countries, supporting demanding automotive, EV, aerospace, heavy equipment, and industrial environments with an applications-first mindset.
Vision integration is quoted per application, so there is no single list price, but the cost drivers are consistent. The biggest factors are how many guidance or inspection points you need, the camera resolution and optics required to resolve your smallest feature, whether the job needs 2D or 3D imaging, and how much custom lighting and part presentation your parts demand. Robot integration, safety guarding, controls changes, and validation requirements add to scope, as does the amount of part variation the system has to tolerate. GLOBAL scopes these elements together and can run a feasibility study so you see the trade-offs before you commit to a full build.
