Machine Vision Guidance
Integrate cameras and intelligent guidance to locate parts, verify orientation, inspect quality, track moving products, and enable flexible robotic operations with less dedicated fixturing.
GLOBAL Automation Technologies designs vision-guided robotic systems that help manufacturers automate complex, variable production tasks with greater precision. From part identification and random bin picking to real-time inspection and adaptive robot guidance, our solutions improve throughput, reduce rework, and strengthen traceability. Pair advanced machine vision with turnkey engineering, installation, programming, and support from one experienced automation partner.

Vision automation gives robots the awareness needed to work with real-world variation. GLOBAL starts with representative good and defect samples, then selects the imaging approach for each task: 2D for presence, position, and flat features; 3D where height, tilt, or full part pose matter; and line-scan for continuous or cylindrical surfaces. Optics, lighting, and part fixturing are engineered together so features read consistently and ambient plant light is shielded out, and calibration with hand-eye alignment keeps image coordinates accurate when vision guides the robot to parts in bins or in variable positions. Acceptance thresholds are tuned against golden and defect samples to balance false rejects against escapes, results pass to the robot and PLC so a divert or reject mechanism removes nonconforming parts, and outcomes can be logged with serial numbers for traceability. Every system is validated in a run-off against agreed criteria before production, integrated with the machines, conveyors, and controls you already run.

Experienced engineers solving complex manufacturing automation challenges worldwide.
Founded in 2008, GLOBAL Automation Technologies was built to solve manufacturing problems through automation. The company saw that manufacturers need more than a robotic system: they also need qualified people to launch, operate, and improve it, so it combined systems integration with technical staffing under one roof. Over 18+ years, its 110+ team members and offices in four countries have supported manufacturers with engineering, simulation, controls, programming, installation, and commissioning, bringing production experience from automotive, EV, aerospace, heavy equipment, and industrial operations across 22 countries.
GLOBAL configures each system around what you need to catch or guide on: for inspection, that includes component presence and position, orientation, dimensional features, hole and edge locations, assembly completeness, weld-seam features, dispense-bead placement and continuity, and visible surface defects such as scratches, dents, or missing material; for guidance, it locates parts and their orientation so a robot can pick or work on them. What is practical depends on the size of the smallest feature that matters, the contrast between a good and a bad condition, and how repeatably parts present. GLOBAL reviews representative good and defect samples early to confirm what reads reliably versus what needs a different imaging approach.
