Robotic Dispensing
Custom FANUC systems apply seam sealers, structural adhesives, polyurethane foam, cavity wax, sound dampening, PVC coatings, and protective materials along complex 3D paths with controlled flow and speed.
GLOBAL Automation Technologies engineers robotic dispensing and sealing systems that deliver accurate, repeatable material application on demanding production lines. From structural adhesives and seam sealers to protective films and underbody coatings, our FANUC-based solutions combine optimized 3D paths, material controls, and inspection. Build a scalable process that strengthens quality control, reduces material waste, and keeps throughput moving.

Custom robotic systems for accurate material delivery, inspection, integration, and production-ready support.
Custom FANUC systems apply seam sealers, structural adhesives, polyurethane foam, cavity wax, sound dampening, PVC coatings, and protective materials along complex 3D paths with controlled flow and speed.
Automated tape application cells place anti-chip tape, protective film masking, and related materials accurately on contoured parts, supporting repeatable coverage while reducing manual variation and handling demands.
A downstream vision station and flow monitoring check bead width, placement, and continuity after application, identifying missed paths and off-spec conditions before parts advance to the next operation.
As a Level 5 FANUC Authorized System Integrator, GLOBAL Automation Technologies integrates robots, controls, tooling, fixtures, safety systems, and programming into complete dispensing applications.
From process studies and offline simulation through installation, commissioning, training, and ongoing support, GLOBAL Automation Technologies delivers complete robotic dispensing systems for manufacturing operations.
Engineering teams assess workflows, cycle times, equipment, constraints, and return potential to define a practical robotic dispensing or sealing solution before full project commitment.
GLOBAL Automation Technologies designs dispensing and sealing robots and cobots around your materials, part contours, joint geometries, and production targets, engineering each cell through a clear sequence. It starts with a material and bead study that looks at the sealant or adhesive, its flow and viscosity, the required bead geometry, and the cure process, including whether the material is single-component or a two-component system that needs metering and mixing. The team then integrates the dispense equipment, from pumps and heated hoses to meter-mix units and applicators, tying it into the robot and controls. Engineers create and tune the complex 3D bead paths, coordinating robot speed with material flow for dependable, uniform delivery through corners and contours, and design fixtures that locate parts repeatably with part-in-place checks. Purge cycles, tip cleaning, and material-change routines are built in so the dispense system stays reliable between scheduled maintenance windows. Where verification is needed, a downstream vision station confirms bead placement, width, and continuity after application, helping manufacturers catch defects before parts advance and minimizing costly rework, and the cell is validated in a run-off before launch.

110+ team members support manufacturing projects across North America and 22 countries worldwide.
Engineers solving complex manufacturing automation challenges worldwide.
GLOBAL Automation Technologies was founded in 2008 to solve manufacturing problems through automation, built around a practical difference: manufacturers should not have to choose between a robotic systems integrator and the technical talent needed to operate and support it. Over 18+ years, the company has combined systems integration and staffing in one organization, serving automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and industrial manufacturers. From its Auburn Hills, Michigan headquarters, its 110+ professionals bring applications-focused thinking to simulation, controls, robot programming, commissioning, and long-term production support, delivering the system and the engineers to keep factories moving.
GLOBAL builds robotic cells that dispense seam sealers, structural adhesives, RTV silicones, formed-in-place gasketing (FIPFG), polyurethane foam, cavity wax, sound-dampening materials, hem-flange sealers, and underbody coatings. The delivery method is engineered around each material's flow characteristics and viscosity, the required bead geometry, the cure process, and the part surfaces involved. Sharing the material and where it goes on the part lets GLOBAL match the dispense approach to the application.
