Robot Cell Simulation
GLOBAL creates virtual robotic cells to evaluate robot reach, interference, motion paths, tooling access, safety zones, and production layouts before physical equipment is built.
Industrial robot simulation creates a virtual model of a robotic cell before equipment reaches the plant floor. GLOBAL uses simulation to test robot reach, paths, tooling, cycle times, safety zones, and layouts early—helping manufacturers move from concept to launch with clearer decisions, faster programming, and fewer costly production surprises. It is a practical foundation for reliable, high-performing automation.

Plan, validate, and optimize robotic automation before installation with integrated engineering support.

Engineers analyze processes, workflow, cycle times, facility constraints, and return potential to identify practical automation opportunities and define an informed project scope.
Machine vision and AI guidance help simulated and deployed robots locate variable parts, verify orientation, inspect quality, and perform flexible material-handling or assembly tasks.
From concept and simulation through controls, build, installation, commissioning, training, and support, GLOBAL delivers complete robotic systems engineered for production.
Simulation supports robot retrofits, capacity expansions, new product launches, and manual-to-automated conversions while helping teams minimize disruption to existing operations.
Virtual studies model part flow, grippers, fixtures, machine access, and cycle timing for single- or multi-machine tending cells designed for extended unattended operation.
Industrial robot simulation is a digital proving ground for manufacturing automation. GLOBAL starts by importing CAD geometry for the parts, tooling, fixtures, and machines, then builds a virtual cell that models the robot, end-of-arm tooling, safety zones, and production sequence. From that model the team runs reach, collision, and interference studies across the full motion envelope and estimates cycle time against the production target, refining the layout before anything is fabricated. Offline programming generates the robot paths from the validated model, and those programs are later calibrated to the physical cell during commissioning so the virtual work transfers cleanly to the floor. This sequence—CAD import, cell modeling, reach and collision study, cycle-time analysis, offline path generation, and calibration to the real equipment—gives engineering teams a stronger basis for layouts, capital decisions, and dependable production launches.

Automation specialists built for complex manufacturing challenges.
GLOBAL Automation Technologies was founded in 2008 to solve manufacturing problems through automation, combining systems integration and technical staffing into one model so clients have a single source for both the system and the engineers to support it. Over 18+ years, the team has grown to more than 110 professionals, with offices in four countries and project experience across 22 countries. From its Auburn Hills, Michigan headquarters, GLOBAL supports OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and industrial manufacturers with practical, production-focused engineering, extended today by AI-assisted simulation and predictive-maintenance tools.
Simulation builds a digital model of the robot, tooling, fixtures, and surrounding equipment so the cell can be studied before anything is built. GLOBAL uses it to validate reach and access, run collision and interference checks across the full motion envelope, confirm the proposed layout, and estimate cycle time against the production target. Offline programming then generates robot paths from that validated model, so much of the programming exists before the cell is powered on.
