Engineered for Production

Build Consistency Into Every Weld

GLOBAL builds industrial robotic welding systems around the realities of a production floor: part variation, cycle-time targets, quality requirements, available space, and downstream processes. Each cell is engineered for practical torch reach and joint access, with fixtures that locate and clamp parts for repeatable fit-up and positioners that present heavy or awkward joints in a weldable orientation. GLOBAL selects the process and weld parameters to suit the material and joint, and can add seam tracking or vision-assisted seam finding so the robot adapts when part placement varies. Cells integrate fume extraction and ventilation, guarding, and interlocks, and can tie into downstream weld inspection to catch conditions before parts move on. GLOBAL also plans consumables and torch maintenance so joining stays consistent—reducing rework, improving throughput, and keeping operators clear of demanding weld tasks.

Meet the GLOBAL Team

Automation specialists focused on production-ready robotic manufacturing systems.

GLOBAL Automation Technologies was founded in 2008 to solve manufacturing problems through automation. Recognizing that manufacturers need more than a robotic system—they also need the talent to install, program, launch, and sustain it—GLOBAL combined robotic systems integration with automation staffing. Over 18+ years it has grown to more than 110 team members, with offices in four countries and project experience across 22 countries, serving automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and industrial manufacturers with applications-based engineering for welding, machine tending, material handling, assembly, and vision. GLOBAL continues to advance its practice with AI-assisted simulation and predictive maintenance tools.

Frequently Asked Questions

What drives the cost of an industrial robotic welding system?

Cost is driven mostly by your parts and duty cycle: part size and weight, the number and length of welds, material thickness, and the process you run. From there, the number of robots and positioners, the fixturing, safety guarding, controls, and any seam tracking or vision all factor in, along with throughput and quality targets. GLOBAL scopes these during the process study so you can weigh capability against budget and avoid paying for capacity or flexibility you won't use.

Which welding processes can be automated, and how do you choose?

Can you retrofit our existing welding line, fixtures, and positioners?

How does robotic welding improve quality, and how much does fit-up matter?

Can one cell handle a high part mix and frequent changeovers?

How are weld fume, guarding, and safety handled, and who is responsible?

Does GLOBAL provide support after commissioning?
