Our Robotic Screwdriving Services

Custom robotic fastening solutions engineered for accurate, traceable, high-throughput industrial assembly operations.

Robotic Assembly Cells

Complete robotic assembly cells combine component handling, insertion, bolt tightening, nut running, precision fastening, fixtures, testing, and controls for repeatable finished-product assembly.

Vision-Guided Fastening

Machine vision locates components, verifies position and presence, and guides robots through variable assembly conditions to help confirm each fastening operation starts correctly.

Material Handling Integration

Robotic pick-and-place, conveyor synchronization, bin picking, and inter-station transfer deliver components to screwdriving stations at the required orientation and cycle time.

Turnkey System Integration

GLOBAL manages system design, simulation, controls, tooling, build, installation, commissioning, training, documentation, and ongoing support for complete robotic fastening solutions.

Assembly Line Upgrades

Modernize existing assembly operations with robotic fastening, updated controls, new equipment integration, and optimized cells designed to support product launches or capacity growth.

Automation Feasibility Studies

Evaluate fastening processes, production workflows, cycle times, facility constraints, and expected ROI before committing capital to a robotic screwdriving or assembly project.

Traceable Assembly Control

Build Precision Into Every Fastening Cycle

Robotic screwdriving gives manufacturers a controlled way to automate critical fastening while documenting the process behind every completed unit, and GLOBAL engineers each cell around the details that decide performance. Design starts with how the part and the fastener are presented, with fixtures and nests that hold the part in a known position and automatic screw feed that delivers fasteners to the tool, and GLOBAL weighs a flexible robot against a fixed or multi-spindle station based on joint locations, fastener count, cycle time, and product mix. The fastening strategy is matched to each joint, applying target torque with angle monitoring for critical fasteners, and can be combined with press-fit, insertion, pick-and-place, or dispensing where a build needs more than fastening. Poka-yoke checks and part-present, torque, and angle verification catch a missed, cross-threaded, or out-of-spec fastener before the part advances, and torque, angle, depth, and pass/fail results can be captured with serial numbers for traceability. The cell is interlocked with upstream and downstream equipment and line controls so parts flow cleanly, and before production GLOBAL validates it through simulation and a run-off on your parts and fasteners, so it launches against proven cycle times, torque results, and throughput.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does GLOBAL control torque and angle in a robotic screwdriving cell?

GLOBAL builds screwdriving cells around the fastening strategy each joint requires, using controlled screwdriving or nut-running tools that apply the target torque and can add angle monitoring for critical fasteners. Each fastening event can capture torque, angle, depth, and pass/fail results, and the tool and feed method are selected for the fastener type and access. The cell can confirm the fastener seated correctly before the part advances, and screwdriving can be combined with press-fit, insertion, pick-and-place, or dispensing where a build needs more than fastening.
