Robotic Palletizing
Custom end-of-line palletizing cells pick, orient, and stack products in repeatable patterns engineered around your packaging, pallet configuration, cycle targets, and available floor space.
GLOBAL Automation Technologies designs collaborative robotic palletizing systems that help manufacturers automate repetitive end-of-line handling without sacrificing flexibility. From product picking and orientation to stable pallet patterns and conveyor coordination, our engineered cells support safer workflows, consistent output, and scalable throughput. Pair proven FANUC integration with vision-guided capabilities, simulation, commissioning, and the engineering support needed to put automation to work.

Integrated palletizing solutions engineered for product handling, pattern accuracy, flexible changeovers, and dependable end-of-line performance.
Custom end-of-line palletizing cells pick, orient, and stack products in repeatable patterns engineered around your packaging, pallet configuration, cycle targets, and available floor space.
Machine vision helps robots identify product position and orientation, verify placement, and adapt to variable incoming parts or packaging for more flexible palletizing operations.
Coordinated conveyor, PLC, and robot controls keep products moving through the palletizing cell while supporting reliable timing, transfers, accumulation, and downstream handoff.
GLOBAL engineers end-of-arm tooling and fixtures around product geometry, weights, surfaces, and handling requirements to support secure, efficient robotic picking and placement.
From simulation and controls engineering through installation, commissioning, training, and support, GLOBAL delivers complete palletizing automation systems ready for production.
Upgrade manual or aging end-of-line operations with robotic palletizing designed to fit existing equipment, capacity goals, safety requirements, and production constraints.
A collaborative palletizing cell should fit the way your line actually runs, and GLOBAL Automation Technologies engineers each one around the product and floor space it serves. Work begins with a load and SKU study — product size, weight, and pallet patterns — followed by end-of-arm tooling selection sized to the collaborative robot's payload. Product is metered and oriented on the infeed so the cobot picks from a predictable position, then places items into recipes configured in palletizing software so it builds stable layers and switches formats as SKUs change. Pallet dispensing, slip-sheet placement, and the handoff to downstream stretch wrapping are built in where needed, with a safety strategy — speed and force limiting, area scanning, and light guarding where the load requires it — designed into the cell rather than assumed. A mobile base option lets the cell move between lines, and each configuration is run off with your product before it is handed to production.

Engineering automation solutions for demanding manufacturing environments worldwide.
GLOBAL Automation Technologies was founded in 2008 to solve manufacturing problems through automation, combining robotic systems integration with technical staffing so customers can access both through one partner. Its 110+ team members support projects in demanding automotive, heavy-industry, aerospace, and general manufacturing environments. Over 18+ years, GLOBAL has grown to offices in four countries, work completed in 22 countries, and more than 630 robots sold worldwide, applying that engineering perspective — and AI-assisted simulation — to each application.
Collaborative palletizing typically runs at a lower, steadier rate than a fenced high-speed cell, because speed and force are limited to keep the robot safe to work near. Actual throughput depends on product weight and size, the pallet pattern, pick count per cycle, and how far the cobot travels. Rather than promising a fixed cases-per-hour number, GLOBAL matches the cobot to the sustained rate your line needs and confirms it with simulation. For higher demand a conventional industrial cell may be the better fit, and GLOBAL will say so during scoping.
